About Lauri

Lauri brings a refined, integrative approach to yoga, informed by over 30 years of dedicated practice and study. Rooted in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions, she is known for her clear instruction and intelligent sequencing, weaving together precision, breath, and awareness. Her classes are both strong and precise, challenging yet grounded in support and compassion, with thoughtful modifications to meet each individual. She cultivates a welcoming environment empowering students to access ease in effort, and stillness in strength.

Lauri’s therapeutically oriented classes draw from traditional yoga techniques and are informed by modern neuroscience and nervous system regulation. These practices create space for deep rest, recalibration, and healing, supporting resilience, balance, and a well-regulated, responsive nervous system. Lauri is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500, with advanced training in Yoga Therapy.

Class Styles

Vinyasa Flow

A dynamic, breath-led practice rooted in the Ashtanga and Iyengar traditions. Strong and precise, with intelligent sequencing and clear instruction. Open to practitioners with some prior experience.

Restorative Yoga

A deeply supported, therapeutic practice using props to hold the body in stillness. Informed by modern neuroscience and nervous system regulation, these sessions create space for deep rest, recalibration, and healing. All levels welcome.

Yoga Nidra

A guided meditation practice conducted in stillness, drawing the practitioner into the threshold between waking and sleep. Known as “yogic sleep,” Yoga Nidra supports nervous system restoration, deep relaxation, and inner clarity. No experience necessary.

Breathwork

Pranayama and breathwork practices drawn from traditional yoga and informed by contemporary nervous system science. Breathwork provides the most direct access to our physiological state — creating immediate shifts in energy, clarity, and calm. Offered as a standalone practice and woven throughout other classes.
